Natural or Not?

Eugene, a member of the legendary girl group S.E.S., has always been chosen as the prettiest member by fans. During her S.E.S. days, her face was being compared to that of Olivia Hussey (Romeo & Juliet). She had received praises for having a prominent forehead and a slightly upturned and pointed nose.

However, she didn't escaped from criticisms. Many have been doubting her natural beauty. They suspect she had gone under the knife. Though, her fans strongly believe that Eugene is all natural. You might have noticed a scar on her right upper arm. If Eugene didn't let her scar be removed through surgery, how much more with her face.

Eugene's mom broke her silence when she cleared in a bulletin board in an internet portal, saying "my daughter's face is all natural". According to her, when Eugene was just 3 years old, a hot tea had accidentally been spilled on her, from her face down to her shoulders. Thank goodness it was only a part of her upper arm which has been baldly scalded. She explained that Eugene's face is natural and her features were naturally inherited - nose from her dad and chin from her mom.

Smashbox Signing Event at Pusan

Eugene has been very busy lately. Her drama Three Dads and One Mom has recently ended; she was chosen as the spokesperson of the 12th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival; and on the 21st of this month, she attended a signing event of the Hollywood cosmetics "Smashbox" at Pusan. A fan signing event was also held last April 26 at the Lotte Department Store.

Eugene Selected as PiFan Spokesmodel

Actress and former K-Pop artist, Eugene, has been selected to be the "PiFan Lady" by the organizational committee of the 12th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan).

Last year, Eugene made her silver screen debut with the movie "Unstoppable Marriage," and is currently in the middle of filming "198th Page of That Man's Book" with actor Lee Dong-wook. During the course of the film festival (July 18th-27th), Eugene will participate in its various public and promotional events.

Former "PiFan Ladies" include Bae Doo-na, Jang Jin-young, Ha Ji-won, Kang Soo-yeon, Choo Sang-mi and Jin Hee-kyung. And from 2006 to 2007, Park Joong-hoon, Lee Jun-ki, Lee Wan and Song Chang-hui have had the honor of becoming "PiFan Guys."

SUMMARY

This drama is a story about Lee Hyuk (Park Yong Ha) who injures himself while trying to save his friend at sea. Hyuk was saved by Jin Da-rae (Yoo Jin), but is traumatized by the accident and thinks that his dead mother came back to save him. Da-rae's father, Manager Jin, was killed on the same day in a different accident.

About a year later, Da-rae meets Hyuk again on an orange farm but they have a dislike for each other. Love blossoms later, however, when Hyuk goes back to an island to save Da-rae, when she has to look for her missing purse [that was thrown away by jealous Cho Su-kyong (Lee Yu Ri)] and misses the boat back from the island. Su-kyong has her heart set on Hyuk when she discovers that he is the eldest son of Chairman Lee.

Because of Da-rae, Hyuk decides to change his ways and starts to work for his father. He buys a pearl ring for Da-rae. Before he can give it to her, he learns that her father's death was not an accident but was actually a murder. He keeps his real identity from Da-rae when she reveals to him that Chairman Lee might be the one who had her father killed and is trying to get the diary containing the proof.

The plot of the drama revolves around the murder, family disapprovals, Su-kyong's schemes to break up Hyuk and Da-rae's relationship and a "framebar" that Hyuk cherishes.

Chairman Lee dies, the company business fails and Hyuk has to go to Hawaii to rebuild the business. Because of the framebar, Hyuk discovers before he leaves that it was Da-rae who saved his life. Not once but twice. Once in the sea accident and again when he was wasting his life away on his orange farm due to the guilt of his friend's death.
